She is academic advisor for the Doctorate in Psychotherapy at the Metanoia Institute in London, where she has been internal examiner for the University of Middlesex. She has also examined for Nottingham and Derby Universities.
Her interest in training has given her a long-standing teaching role within the Gestalt Institute in Slovenia (GITA) and she supervises a placement focussing on short-term Gestalt therapy which has been running in Nottingham since 2000.
She is the current editor of the British Gestalt Journal, a peer-reviewed publication with international contributors and readership.
Her own practice as a psychotherapist is enlivened by her academic and training activities. She has written on the use of creativity in therapy sessions with individual clients and couples.
