Short workshops are held periodically at Malvern House, providing intensive Continuing Professional Development learning opportunities for small groups.
These include:
- Introduction to using the sand-tray in therapy
- Reflective writing for professional practice
- Sand, clay and therapeutic story-telling
- Creative methodologies for counselling and methodology
- Wildness and wisdom – a psychotherapy workshop for women
- Being and nothingness – exploring spirituality in psychotherapy practice
- Introduction to research methods for psychotherapists
- Introduction to Gestalt therapy
These workshops can be held at other venues by arrangement.
If you are interested in attending or commissioning any of these workshops, please contact me indicating what you are interested in.
Pastoral Counselling
I am course leader for a unique MA and post-graduate diploma course in pastoral counselling at St John’s College, Nottingham, which is based on a dialogue between Gestalt counselling theory and Christian spirituality. Applications are considered throughout the year, and a yearly intake begins in September. More details can be found on their website here.
